This detailed valve actuator cutaway depicts a common rotary vane-type valve actuator regularly used as a closure device on industrial 1/4-turn valves. This specialized pneumatic valve actuator is commonly found in manufacturing facilities, petro-chemical plants, power plants, refineries and other similar industrial, commercial and agricultural applications.
Rotary pneumatic actuators are a compact, popular and economical choice for remote ball, plug, and butterfly valve actuation in many industries due to their simplicity of construction, small space envelope, and limited number of moving parts.
